Shimona’s students include both professional musicians and amateurs alike. 

Shimona regularly offers a piano accompaniment service to her students as well as others in the industry, which includes bespoke exam and performance preparation coaching.

Shimona is a seasoned opera singer and piano accompanist from Singapore. She brings a wealth of experience and passion to her teaching. Shimona graduated with a Master of Performance with Distinction from the Royal College of Music in 2020, studying under Amanda Roocroft. Crowned the 2024 Pendine International Voice of the Future, Shimona began her musical studies with the piano at 5, achieving an ABRSM Diploma in Music Performance in 2014. An accomplished performer and experienced recitalist, Shimona has received a number of first prizes and was the first non-Australian to win the 2018 Opera Scholar of the Year and the 37th Annual Australian National Liederfest. 

In addition to her successful performing career, Shimona enjoys teaching singing and piano, both in person and online. She has empowered students in Singapore and London, helping them excel in high-grade exams and personal musical journeys. Her approach blends solid technique with expressive musicality, ensuring each student can tell their unique story through music. Whether aiming for performance excellence or exploring a new skill for fun, Shimona is here to guide you every step of the way!
