Soprano Shimona Rose joins an ensemble of guest musicians for an uplifting afternoon of classical, jazz, pop and gospel music at Christ Church, Bristol.

Inspired by Psalm 108:1, “My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul,” the concert brings together performers to celebrate the joy of music, faith and fellowship through a diverse programme of instrumental and vocal works.

Shimona performs Mendelssohn's Hear My Prayer (O for the Wings of a Dove), joins mezzo-soprano Rebecca Chellappah for Rossini's Qui tollis peccata mundi from Petite Messe Solennelle, and performs the gospel favourite Go Tell It on the Mountain, accompanied by pianist Olwen Kirkham.
